The DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE
and CONSTITUTION of the
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it is part of my religious teachings that the Constitution of the United States of America  - as it came from the pen of the original writers - is a document inspired by God. Leaders of my church have continually encouraged us to study this document as an inspired work - and to study it and its meaning as originally written; to learn the intent of those who wrote this document.

My intent on this web page is to introduce the intent of the original writers. There will be many quotes and articles in this site that were written by Latter-day Saints for Latter-day Saints. But I think anyone will find it all to be of worth.

"Posterity - you will never know how much it has cost my generation
to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it."
John Quincy Adams
