I did an electronic search of the
words Sing - Sang - Song - Sung,
and these are the pertinent passages I found.
Referring to Strong's Concordance
with many of them, I discovered these words, in Hebrew, covered a full
range of definitions - singing, proclaiming; pleading; responding;
crying out loudly.

Exodus 15:1-2 (1-9):
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and
spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed
gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. The
LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my
God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will
exalt him.
Exodus 15:21: And
Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed
gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
Numbers 21:17-20:
Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing* ye unto it: The
princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the
direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness
they went to Mattanah: And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel
to Bamoth: And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of
Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon. (*NOTE: The
second use of the work 'sing' in this passage means to 'respond' or
'testify'.)
Deuteronomy 31:14-22:
And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that
thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of
the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua
went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.
And the LORD appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the
pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle. And the LORD
said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this
people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of
the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and
break my covenant which I have made with them. Then my anger shall be
kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will
hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and
troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not
these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? And I will
surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have
wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods. Now therefore write ye
this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their
mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of
Israel. For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware
unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall
have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn
unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen
them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it
shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their
imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them
into the land which I sware. Moses therefore wrote this song the
same day, and taught it the children of Israel.
Deuteronomy 31:24-30:
And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the
words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses
commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD,
saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of
the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness
against thee. For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold,
while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against
the LORD; and how much more after my death? Gather unto me all the
elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words
in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I
know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn
aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you
in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to
provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. And Moses spake in
the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until
they were ended.
Deuteronomy 32:44-46 (1-44):
And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in
the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun. And Moses made an
end of speaking all these words to all Israel: And he said unto them,
Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day,
which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of
this law.
Judges 5:1-2 (1-30): Then
sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying, Praise ye

themselves. Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will
sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.

make known his deeds
among the people.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his
wondrous works.
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them
rejoice that seek the LORD....
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day
to day his salvation....

went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye
inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be
established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had
consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that
should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army,
and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when
they began to sing* and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the
children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah;
and they were smitten. (* 'ringing cry'; 'entreaty'; 'supplication';
'praise')
2 Chronicles 29:26-30:
And the Levites stood
with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets. And
Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when
the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the
trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel. And
all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the
trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was
finished. And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all
that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped. Moreover
